I only crash when the 12900k CPU is installed. I gave up on the issue thinking that it was a faulty chip, so borrowed my GF's 12700k CPU and did not run into any crashes for months to come.Įventually I got enough money to buy another 12900k to replace the prior, but after installing. XMP was enabled so I tried running with it disabled, it ended with the same result. I even swapped out my RAM and would still have the same issues. I reinstalled Windows 3 times, I tried dxdiag/SFC, aswell as updating all windows files / GPU / bios / chipset and all mobo updates. It happens in any game I play after a random amount of time I play. Ever since I installed the i9 12900k CPU into my build it has been a crashing nightmare.(BSOD, and game crashes) I collected several memory.dmp files and it all seemed to lead towards kernel crashes.
